I was a big Pokemon fan as a kid. But Red and Blue came out when I was 8. So after playing the first few titles, I discovered boys and kind of forgot about Pokemon 😂… Until Pokemon Go came out. I enjoyed that at first, but got annoyed that you cannot keep playing it for a long time. So then I started playing the console games again and now finally, 8 years later, I feel like I am ready to take this thing seriously and start VGC. Wish me luck!

Amoongus and Rillaboom definitely deserve the rop 2 slots id like ro see more on Decidueye (Hissuan) a strong grass type along with fifhting type and there isnt a ton to pick from in that category rn.

Good tools to use to know what teams are top but also find ways to beat the beat teams. Personally i dont want to use to best teams, i want to know how to beat them

I'm actually one a those dorks that doesn't practice on Showdown, but actually in cartridge 😅. I do, however, use everything else about twice as much, just elevate that factor, so I know what moves and stat spread is most optimal. It's not the optimal way to team build, but it works great for me. At least for BO1😅.

I use pikalytics when I’m interested in a pokemon and showdown to actually test teams out before I make them in game! I also usually text other people who I know play competitive and bounce ideas off them. On that note, I gotta finish out lining all the teams I wanna try out (something like 50ish teams)

Game 3 against LuckyW0lf was wild!! Got to see 2 of my creations face off. 100% hindsight though, if I could remake this, I would have Standard Ursaluna over Araquanid, and Clear Smog over EP on Tork. Araquanid was there for the FWG core, but this team has so mich offensive pressure in TR, it’s not super necessary. Plus it has anti-synergy with Torkoal’s Sun. Fav Psyspam is probably either Hat or Armarouge! Leaning towards Armarouge though cause you can also run Lava Plume+Dachsbun there as well lol

5:55 115 base special defense and assumable max HP investment because of trick room spread will be like that. Gallade is a monster at eating special hits in particular that other offensive pokemon would fold to. Same with Armarouge on the physical side, they're almost like unofficial counterparts; Gallade has high physical attack and special defense while Armarouge has high special attack and physical defense.
